Kingdom Fire
Kingdom Fire Instructions
Unlike most RPG games where most of the interaction is with the computer's mouse, you need to memorize a couple of important buttons and keys in Kingdom Fire. While you can use your mouse to activate the buttons and to bring up the menus, using your keyboard is a LOT faster and easier. Press the I button to bring up the inventory. Hitting the C key, on the other hand, brings up your character's stats. S button for spells and M to toggle the map. As for your character's movements, there's no way around it BUT to use the mouse. It's very easy, though, just click on the spot where you want to go and your character will proceed. Those are the basics of the controls. The other aspects like trading can be checked in the in-game instructions and guide.

Kingdom Fire Walkthrough
As far as depth and substance goes, there's nothing to be amazed at in Kingdom Fire. It's just like your regular RPG games out there. You are out to kill mobs and monsters, gain levels, learn spells, and everything else in between. HOWEVER, when it comes to variety - spells, customizability, available weapons, and the like, this game is a force to be reckoned with! YOu will spend most of your time customizing your character: giving him the MOST powerful weapons you can find, molding him with the spells you learn, and those are just to name a few. And you need to do it while fighting against hordes and hordes of monsters (and, for the life of me, I don't understand why you need to go out of your way and fight in the first place).
Anyway, much of the game centers around the mythical and fictional kingdom of Coldspire as well as the surrounding lands... massive lands if I may add. Vast plains, towering mountain peaks, scorching hot deserts - YES, the world... the realm in Kingdom Fire is so vast that you need to keep an eye on the map to make sure you are where you want to be. I got to tip my hats off to the designer in this department. If you are an adventurous kind of guy, who unfortunately can't find the time to go where you want to go for whatever reason, this game should at least take you a step closer to that experience.
Going back to the game, let's take a closer look at the interface you will see when you start Kingdom Fire. You will find 2 bars: the bar on the top represents your health, which, by now, you should know how important it is. If it runs out, your character dies. Below your health bar lies the magic bar. It's like your mana pool, it's a measurement of how much energy or mana you can spend. The more mana or energy you have, the more spells you can cast (depending on the magic points the spell requires and its level). Looking at the right part of the interface, you will find 10 spell slots for quick spell casting. By the way, casting spells is as easy as pressing the number keys 1 to 0. Below it, you will find the 4 buttons for inventory, character, spells, and for the map.
All in all, this is one of those RPG games that are worth playing... and feels REALLY like an RPG game. While not as spectacular as most of the modern RPG games today, it's still amazing especially when you consider that it's FREE and it's flash based. Dig in and have fun.
