Duck Life 2 Walkthrough

Ducks - they are everywhere. They come in different sizes. Some of them are aloof and don't want to be disturbed. Some of them are quite friendly and do socialize with people around them. Bottom line: ducks are very common. There's nothing special about them, right? Wrong.

Apparently, there's one duck. A duckling, to be precise, that dreams of making it BIG. This duckling dreams of winning races and going home with that shiny crown placed on its feathered head. And you will help him realize those dreams. This is Duck Life 2.

Created by Sims5000, this is one of those RPG games that are lighthearted. No intense battle scenes here folks. If that's what you are looking for, you may want to check other RPG games.

The goal of the game is straightforward. You need to take that duckling through the four areas. Each of these areas comes with 3 races. Win those 3 races, and you along with your duckling will earn the right to compete in the semi finals and championship to be held in Japan.

And the reward for all of these efforts? It's a bucket full of goodies. You get not only your golden crown BUT you also take home a ton of gold, cheats that are fun to use, as well as an access to the level editor.

Cool, isn't it? BUT don't get too excited fellas. Don't make the mistake of jumping straight into the races. That's a surefire way to get disappointed. The duckling will fall behind those well-trained and athletic ducks he's competing with. What you need to do is play 4 mini games. Playing and training in these mini games will help your duckling increase his stats and get beefy. He will learn to climb, run, fly, and swim like a champ through these mini games.

As for the 4 training regimens, which are disguised as mini games, they are controlled primarily with the arrow keys. They serve as tests of your reflexes.

In the running test, if you see a ball combing your way, hit the up arrow key right away for your duckling to jump over it.

When it comes to the swimming test, the up and down arrow keys would be used a lot. Press the up arrow to jump over the obstacles, and hit the down arrow key to dive under them instead.

As for the left and right arrow keys, they will come handy in the climbing test. Last BUT not the least, the flying test requires you to avoid those obstacles with the up and down arrow keys.

Here's the idea: the longer you last in a test or mini game, the more EXP and levels you will gain. BUT if you only last for a couple of seconds, don't be frustrated. That's ok. You will still go up at least one level.

From there, it's a matter of keeping a slow BUT steady pace until your duckling is strong enough to take on the races. Aside from EXP and levels, you also gain coins from the mini games. These coins can be used to purchase upgrades that will increase your level limit as well as your energy. Both of these are very crucial for the races.

When it comes down to the actual races, you don't need to control your duck at all. Like a real life duck trainer, all you can do in the races is watch your duck slug it out with other racers and hope that you have trained him enough to win. BUT it isn't so bad really.

You get to enjoy some of the clever artwork, just relax and sit back. Not to mention the joy when your duckling wins. You can't help but say: "That's my boy." or rather "That's my duckling".
